My son brought me a 1948 Lincon Nickel. I can't find a D, S, or anything like that on it. I've looked all over the net and still have no clue what it's worth. Any info would be much appreciated.

Fri, July 21, 2006 - 1:03 PMMy guess is about 5c. You might be able to get more in a private party sale, but I doubt a coin dealer would pay much more for it, unless it's an Uncirculated coin, part of a mint set.
The mint struck 89,348,000 1948 (P) for circulation; it's not exactly a rare coin. -
